Professional bookstore quality, quick turn around and local pick-up from our office.
Some books come to us ready to go, submit your print ready .pdf and cover image (.jpg,.png or Photoshop -psd) preferred. Schedule an office visit or for a quick quote upload your files here if it meets print specifications we'll get you on the production schedule. A 1/2 deposit is required when placing an order with the remainder due upon pick-up or prior to shipping. Print time averages about a week (depending on current workload) with local pick-up available as soon as complete.
If you're just getting started your projects may need a little more attention. You will need typesetting, layout and some design to get a print ready book. Sure, we can help with that! You can submit your raw manuscript from just about software: Microsoft Word, Google docs, Mac Pages, LaTeX or any type form. We can also work directly with your editor, designer or publishing coach. There are no contracts, sales packages or publishing ownership claims. You are hiring a company to professionally produce your publication, that's it.

Don’t assume that all book printers produce the same quality. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every company has their own process, sources of material and equipment; it makes a huge difference in how your finished product will look and how long it will last. Some materials are meant to look beautiful fresh off the press but, given time non-acid free paper will begin to yellow and non PUR binding will dry out and book spines will eventually begin to crack.
That's just a few of the factors to be aware of when trying to decide whether you are getting a premium quality product. You shouldn't need to learn every aspect of publishing to get a quality book. You do the writing, and we'll do the rest!

Publishing and book marketing scams are common, TV commercials, click bait ads and less than scrupulous companies target aspiring writers promising an array of publishing services that begin with high upfront costs followed by the continued focus on extracting more money through up-selling packages that you don't want or need. Like other things in life the key to successful authorship is trust. Go with your instinct if something doesn't feel or sound right, keep searching.
Other common scams to watch for are bogus literary agents that promise to represent writers to secure publishing deals but demand fees upfront. Legitimate literary agents earn commissions when an author’s manuscript sells. You should be wary of any agent asking for money upfront, this is a major red flag.
Scam companies take advantage of the confusion surrounding the publishing industry. When they sense that you're unsure about the process this is usually viewed as an opportunity to sell additional unnecessary services.
Know the difference! As a printer there are many ways to cut corners, one is by using a laminating machine instead of UV coating. While the technology of using laminating for book covers has gotten better it has never been the choice of major publishing companies. And it's a fairly clear indication to the public of a self published book.
Because film Laminates are less expensive, they're frequently used by smaller printers instead of UV coating. While this could lower your cost 10 – 20 cents per book, some customers have complained that covers tend to curl and the overall look and feel is somewhat different than paperbacks produced by traditional publishers.
This should not be a problem if you’re distributing among family and friends but if you are looking to have the professional appearance of a book store equivalent publication you may want to go with the standard of UV coating.
